Mission Statement
The Opelousas Housing Authority's mission is to provide public housing assistance for people with low and moderate incomes. OHA offers safe, quality, and affordable housing to low-income families, the elderly, and disabled individuals.

Opelousas Housing Authority offers low-rent public housing to eligible individuals and families. Applications are taken at 906 E. Laurent Street, Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm.
