  • Networking with the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce is all about working together, getting into contact with other members who may know a skill you lack, and supporting each other to contribute to a greater whole. It is about helping each other learn through our peers to benefit each other with our diversity. The Chamber has many opportunities for networking available to its members and even non-members.

  • Lunch and Learn

    Our monthly Lunch & Learn is one of the events provided by the Chamber that is available to registered Chamber members. Typically taking place on the third Thursday of every month at various locations across the parish and features new topics and guest speakers every month. This event gives the business community an opportunity to learn more about what the Chamber is doing to reach their goals and to provide knowledge to those who wish to open a business of their own or help their current business thrive. This program is about giving members ideas on how to strengthen their businesses and getting to know each other over lunch.     Business After Hours

    Business After Hours is an event that can entail a variety of possibilities to network including town hall meetings, Business Open Houses, or Meet & Greets with community leaders. It typically takes place after 5 P.M. during the workweek at various locations across the parish. Co-hosting a Business After Hours events are a great way to promote your business or organization while also connecting you to the business community.     Grand Openings, Ribbon Cuttings, and Ground Breakings

    Grand Openings, Ribbon Cuttings, and Ground Breakings are the perfect occasions to celebrate your businesses' debut. Whether you are just starting on a new project, finally opening your doors, or just moving locations these events not only connect you to your chamber but the entire business community and beyond. Totally customizable to your business needs and goals these events are a great way to meet & greet with community leaders and business professionals. These events are often partnered with other community organizations as a way to promote your business on multiple fronts. Always open to the public, the Chamber promotes these events to local media and its members. Chamber members are encourage to attend these free events as a way to learn about the growth in our community.     Annual Events

    The Chamber holds special events throughout the year that bring the entire business community together for a great cause. Whether it is through our Annual Soiree Royale tasters event, Awards Banquet, or Horses, Harmony, and Agriculture, you can network and socialize with with friends and colleges while celebrating the accomplishments of the dedicated members of our community. These fundraisers help to support local scholarships for students across St. Landry Parish.

    The Chamber’s Committees provide extra focus on areas in St. Landry Parish such as: Area & Economic Development, Education, Government Affairs, Membership, Medical Affairs, Media & Tourism, and Finance. Chamber Members in these committees work together in teams to meet goals based off of the needs of our business community as a whole. Committee membership is open to all Chamber Members and is a great way to give back while making St. Landry Parish a better place to do business.     Board of Directors

    The Board of Directors meet every month to discuss possibilities for developing goals to further help the business community. During these meetings board members discuss updates to Chamber projects, community updates, local government, workforce development, industry updates across the parish. The board is designed to reflect the entire Parish of St. Landry with representatives from nearly every field of business.
