
Laina Brickley
President & CEO
Ms. Brickley and her family moved from Northeast Ohio to the Acadiana area in 2016.
Before her move, she spent ten years in the financial services industry, serving as
a wealth advisor for PNC Bank. Upon her move to Acadiana, she took on the
position as COO of Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, working for the organization
until December of 2021, when she took over as CEO of the Chamber of
Commerce. Ms. Brickley joined the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce to help the
business community grow and thrive by providing innovative resources and
programming while also serving as a convener of ideas and a catalyst for change
and growth.
Ms. Brickley attended Kent State University and received her undergraduate
degree in Psychology with a concentration in Philosophy. Later, she attended
both The University of Toledo to receive her Juris Doctorate and simultaneously
The Medical College of Ohio to be awarded her Master’s in Public Health. Ms.
Brickley is also certified in both general and family law mediation.
She is married to her husband Andrew, the Vice President of Business
Development at Opelousas General Health System. She is involved in the local
community serving on the board of CASA, and actively involved with supporting
her children’s school. Laina enjoys traveling, reading, and baking in her spare
time.
